Happy Hippie At Heart In Love With Life And Color

College in the 60's was quite the experience!  In the world of art, so much was happening...including "happenings."  It seemed as if everything was "art."  I was an art education major, so I was a little more subdued than my fine art counterparts.  But, we all had a wonderful time exploring, art, life and our own personal growth.  Douglass College, Rutgers University,  was only a bus or train ride from NYC, so we took full advantage of  all the museums and galleries that the big city had to offer.

In homage to one of the most incredible artists of all time, Pablo Picasso, I dedicate this humble Etsy treasury.  I am sure he would be laugh with those smiling eyes of his and give it a nod of approval...Celebrating Picasso, Abstract Art, Life, Love, Color and Etsy, here is my "Happy Hippy At Heart Treasury featuring the wonderful work of 16 talented Etsy artists!

Enjoy!  Oh, yes! Make sure you stop and enjoy the YouTube at the end, featuring of course,  The 5 TH Dimension's The Age of Aquarius!  :)  Let the sun shine in!

"La vie est belle!"  Life is beautiful!  Don't forget Mother's Day..she likes color, too!  :)  Patti

I'd Rather Be A Circle Than A Square, I Don't Care!

Love the Simon and Garfunkel song, El Condor Pasa.  Did a little play on it today on Etsy.  When push comes to shove...I would rather be a circle..even if it means I keep spinning my wheels.  How about you?
You can hear the real song on YouTube at the end!

Some lovely items in these wonderful Etsy shops...Enjoy!

I'd rather be a circle than a square.
Yes, I would,
If I could,
I surely would.
Circles go on forever.
Squares have to stop at the corner and wait. :)

"April In Paris" With The Midnight Blues

I love blue, Paris and the song April In Paris as sung by Frank Sinatra.  I used to dream about what Paris would be like.  Now I know that it is all that I ever dreamed it would be and more!  I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Paris in 2005.  I can remember every moment as if it were only yesterday.

Come celebrate the joy of April in Paris with some gorgeous midnight blue items from some of my favorite Etsy Shops!  When you are done shopping, sit back and listen to my man, Frank Sinatra, the one and only..singing..of course "April In Paris."  He was amazing.  Did you know he could not read music?  A book about his life by James Kaplan, entitled "The Voice" will make you fall in love with him all over again, just like I did!  :)  http://www.amazon.com/Frank-The-Voice-James-Kaplan/dp/0385518048  On Amazon...great Mother's Day gift!

Whom can I run to
What have you done to my heart?"
