"La vie est belle!" Life is beautiful.  Patti xo

Enjoy my favorite singer of all time, Frank Sinatra...on YouTube at the end...singing "High Hopes" with a bunch of sweet little kids.  High in the sky apple "pie" hopes...I love that line!

Lavender's Blue Dilly Dilly...

I used to sing this rhyme to my children when they were little...such a lovely old fashioned nursery song that evokes beautiful images of lavender fields and happy childhood imaginative play!

 " Lavender's blue, dilly dilly, lavender's green
When I am king, dilly, dilly, you shall be queen...

I love to dance, dilly, dilly, I love to sing;
When I am queen, dilly, dilly, You'll be my king."*

Enjoy a lovely YouTube video of the song at the end of my blog.  Have a lovely lavender kind of  day....dilly dilly.

Pussy Willows...Spring Is Near

Even to this day, so many years away from my youth, I just love pussy willows...always have..always will..they are magical to my mind's eye.

"Spreading in all directions, like a spray,
Slanting, tipped towards me and away,
Bead-shaped bumps, furry, gray
On pencil thin branches:
Leafless first life of spring..."*

I also love Frank Sinatra who will serenade you on YouTube at the end singing one of my many favorite songs, "Spring Is Here." Enjoy!
