My Dad Is Big And Strong Like A Tree...He Likes Coffee...But He Loves Me., My Fathers Eyes

It takes a lifetime to appreciate our fathers, and even then it is not enough.  My dad has been gone for over 34 years, but the lessons he taught me remain with me today stronger than ever.  Just you wait he would say.  And, he was right. 

 I waited...and sure enough all the things he said were true.  My dad, Bill Budnovitch, was a humble man.  Born in 1907, he had a hard life.  Had to leave school in 7 Th grade to work in the coal mines.  He was everything..coal miner, assembly worker, porcelain sprayer, battery shipper and packer.  Most of all he was someone who I knew would always take care of us, no matter what.  And, he did.  He could sing, and dance, play the harmonica, tell a good joke and fix or build anything I ever wanted.  Thanks, Daddy.  

This treasury is for you and all the wonderful dads out there.  Be sure to listen to Eric Clapton at the end of the blog. He is on YouTube, singing, "My father's Eyes."

Drink Pink Champagne and be Married = Perfect Wedding

I have been happily married to my college sweetheart, Harry, for almost 44 years we have known each other for 48 years.  Gee, that sure is a long time!  You know when you say happily married, it does not mean that everyday has been picture perfect.  Far from it.  But love each other we do until the end of time.  We used to enjoy pink champagne when we were first married.  I can still remember how beautiful it looked in the fluted glasses. I enjoyed finding all these wonderful and romantic items in just a few of my many favorite Etsy shops.  A shout out to Jennifer  & Juls on their birthday week!  :)  Their shops are highlighted.   Oh yes, I have Adele singing her Lovesong on YouTube at the end.  Beautiful way to end this wedding treasury and blog.  She is simply amazing! 

So here is a pink champagne toast to all the brides and grooms of 2012, "May all your days bring you closer together and never far apart for too long.  Congratulations! May God bless all of you with love, happiness and good health!

Blue Dreams... beautiful blue daydreams...all I have to do is dream

I guess by now everyone has guessed that I love a lot of the old songs.  One of the reasons I love them so much is that you can actually understand what they are singing.  This classic went so well with my blue dream treasury today that I had to include it in the title..the one and only Everly Brothers...:) on YouTube at the end. 
Here are just of a few of the Etsy shops that have inspired me over the past year and a half.  I have learned so much from wonderful teammates on Tagt and it is joyful to form new friendships on new teams and to welcome newcomers and applaud their work.
