Baking Spirits Bright, An Etsy Treasury Delight!



Baking Spirits Bright...Baking was always one of our favorite family holiday traditions.  Every Christmas Eve day, I would have a cookie baking extravaganza with our three children.  Powered sugar, colored sugar, jimmies of all kinds and lots of love and laughter and memories.  That is what Christmas is all about.  To this day, frosted sugar cookies, baking them, decorating and sharing them with family and friends is one of my happiest holiday memories! 

It was fascinating to learn the history behind the song "Jingle Bells."  Like baking, it always reminds me of Christmas, smiling faces, little children, and sticking out your tongue to catch snowflakes.
