Our ten day kaleidoscopic tour of Italy inspired me to open my shop.
It is very exciting and challenging trying to sell items on Etsy. I would love to make lots of sales, but that has become almost secondary to the friendships I have made, the beautiful art I have seen and the vast amount of knowledge and exposure to all art forms that I have experienced.

Modern Van Gogh Art Installation Photo taken at the Pompidou Center in Paris, France, 2005.
This art installation was such a creative take on traditional Van Gogh exhibits. It has a light almost lyrical quality that I believe Van Gogh would have enjoyed.
I love the random kinetic nature of the installation as well as the colors, textures and forms. They all work so well together to create a cohesive whole.
Van Gogh was the very first artist I had ever learned about when I was twelve years old. My wonderful sister,Mariea, gave me the Rainbow Book of Art. I still have and cherish it.
I never dreamed at the age of twelve, that I would someday be in Paris looking at this marvelous modern art installation. I had to capture the memory forever on film.
