I have a lot of hope. I have always had it.  Sometimes it fades away a little like winter, but like the seasons, I somehow can always count on its precious return.  For without hope, what have we?

I had the pleasure of listening to George Winston in concert .  What an quiet unassuming genius.  He walked on stage barefoot and proceeded to play the piano like it was his soul.  The music he creates is so beautiful that I cannot even explain what I feel.  I am transported by the melodies to a gentle, wonderful all embracing place of peace and beauty.  He is on YouTube at the end.

All of these lovely Etsy shops have delightful items that remind me of the delicate nature of hope..so fine, so fragile..soft opalescent pastels.h o p e .

    My mom would always scold me if I was playing the piano without my shoes. To this day, I still play in my bare feet :)
