Green Tea With Just Mommy And Me, An Etsy Treasury ...to warm your heart..

When I was a little girl, I was very lucky to have a wonderful mother who taught me how to use my imagination.  We did not have a lot of money, but we never lacked for ideas. Back then, it was time spent together actually doing something together that mattered.  She taught me many things and one of my favorites was how to have a "Tea Party"  with my dolls on real pretend china with real tea and sugar.  She sure was the best mom ever.  Those parties are a special part of my heart.  This treasury is dedicated to her, Anna Budnovitch, my mom..my treasure.  I ALMOST FORGOT, THERE IS A SWEET CHILDREN'S CLASSIC SONG AT THE END ON YOUTUBE.  Maybe your little ones will enjoy acting it out with you!  :)

From Rags to Riches...Shabby To Chic

When I was little my father and mother used to sing a song titled, "Side By Side".  It was written the year they were married, 1927.  Golly that is a long time ago.  My brother, Bill, and I would often "perform" a talent show for them singing this song.  I can see us now! LOL.  It inspired me to create this Etsy treasury featuring wonderful shops that know how to turn rags to riches and shabby to chic!  At the end of the blog I have added  a YouTube video of the song.  Times sure have changed!

I've Got Etsy's Sunshine On A Cloudy Day....

What a great song, "My Girl" the signature song of The Temptations.  It rose on the charts like a rocket to # One.  I have the original YouTube video at the end which has been enjoyed by over 16 million people!  That's a lot of love.

I was inspired today by the beautiful turquoise and orange items in some of my favorite Etsy Shops... I joined a lot of teams recently.  Six teams have shops represented in this treasury.  It is a lot of fun meeting new people and expanding my Etsy circle of friends and fellow artists. 

Enjoy some sunshine on a cloudy day.  Orange and turquoise will always make you feel that way!
